The dumb barges lightweight aluminium construction and plastic modular buoyancy has reduced their transportable weight to 4 tonnes per vessel. Their steel decks still permit either 8 or 16 tonne deck load capacity.
Enviro 4 Dumb Barge
9m x 4m Aluminium Lightweight Heavy Construction Work Platform (Steel Decked) / Dumb Barge. Enviro 4 can work as a standalone work platform with 8 tonne deck load capacity suitable for a 1.8 tonne excavator.
When Enviro 3 & 4 are pinned together they have a 16 tonne deck load capacity suitable for 5.5 tonne excavator operation or 8.5 metre or 12.5 metre lightweight, aluminium piling mast and equipment.
Enviro 5 & Enviro 6 (Work Punt/Barges) have been designed to push these barges in the Brisbane River. Gold Coast City Council have used Enviro 3 & 4 extensively to supersede the requirement for floating excavators for profiling cane field river banks and other revetment rock lake projects.
Both Enviro 3 & 4 are set up for scaffold works under bridge structures.
Enviro 3 & 4 have also been used by Mercedes Benz and Skylighter Fireworks for various promotional jobs.
